iNSPIRETEK is a Brisbane based health tech company focused on driving positive behavior change, with a vision to change the future of sport by improving wellbeing outcomes for athlete’s around the globe.
Founded by former competitive gymnast Annie Flamsteed, she chose to exit the sport in her late teens due in part to the high pressure placed on elite athletes. Annie went on to study medicine, before pivoting into health tech, which led to her founding iNSPIRETEK in 2019.
“As someone who struggled with mental health and eventually an eating disorder during my gymnastics career, our mission as a company is critical for the future of sport and ultimately the wellbeing of all young athletes.”
We believe an all-encompassing focus on performance in sport has come at a cost, often alienating all but the most elite of athletes. This led to our focus on the mental health and wellbeing of young athletes. Our suite of products work together to drive positive behavioural change at a critical period in an athlete’s life.
